The air is hot and sticky; the sky is beginning to change.
The wind has picked up, with a sound so strange.
A sudden chill runs up and down my spine.
I hear a chattering could those teeth be mine.
In the distance is the sound of claps of thunder.
Where is the storm heading I wonder?
I listen and the birds have ceased to sing,
Sure evidence that there will be lightening.
Hopefully with a summer storm there will come rain.
That in itself is God's blessings that we obtain.
He drenches the parched earth so things can grow.
His way of making the landscape all aglow.
Afterward the world smells so fresh & sweet.
This summer storm is God's magnificent treat.
Soon the clouds dissipate, the sun peaks through.
And the sky becomes a warm and vibrant blue.
Suddenly it came gasped and shed its tears.
Then we realized there was no need for fears.
God’s angel tears came to nourish us and we thrived
The whole world around us seemed to be revived.
