Dear God I know you are so busy,
But I need you to know I am so sad.
Why did you take my sister Misty?
She was always good and never bad.
Mama told me she really loved babies,
Maybe you needed an angel for the nursery.
I don't really mean to act babyish,
She was the only sister I had and I am lonely.
Also while I am writing to you could let her know,
How her leaving has affected those who love her.
We really try to act brave and not let it show.
Especially at Christmas time it's so hard to bear.
The lights don't seem as pretty and bright.
The music seems to have a dull sound.
People seem to feel sorrowful and uptight,
The emptiness is like a disease going around.
Please tell Jesus we are really sorry,
We didn't celebrate his birthday properly.
I really don't want to cause you any worry.
I hope you understand my heart hurts awfully
