The Portrait She is one of the most beautiful women I know, Her angelic beauty came from deep within. When I was little she was always on the go. She embraced the Lord and avoided all sin. She taught these basic principles To all the children, left in her care. I loved to hear her talk about Jesus' miracles. It almost made you feel you were there. When she spoke about the Lord, Her face lit up with a light divine. She showed what his love could afford, Her complexion had a pearl like shine. Her voice was rich with a timbre so mellow She could weave a magical trance She made every man feel like a lucky fellow Especially when she was chosen to dance You ask how can I know this was the case, She always told me to do my very best. As her daughter I was privy to her feminine grace, Shown how to let the world know I was blessed. © Carol G Oliver share
