Here we are as happy as can be.
All we can do from shouting whoopee!!
How we both love the clickity clack,
As the wheels move along the railroad track.

One day when we are grown men,
We will be able to remember when.
Two little boys who love to play engineer.
Pretended to cross the new frontier.

Besides all the time we spent together,
And the imaginary storms we did weather.
Our childhood ambition to ride the rails.
Was a strong desire that never pales.

We are full-grown and still close friends,
Enjoying an occupation that has no end.
Man will always need to use the train.
For the lifestyle he needs to maintain.

Little boy dreams will be fulfilled.
They will find themselves to be very skilled,
At maneuvering those giant monsters of steel.
As easily as driving their own large automobile.
