I watched as the baby boy knelt down.
For so long he seemed to be spellbound,
His eyes filled with wonder and delight
At the beautiful flower so pure and bright.
 
What a wonderful way to usher in Easter morn,
The glorious day that Jesus was reborn.
This is the time that the world shines with joy,
A new discovery for the darling little boy.
 
What a beautiful picture of God's child.
I am sure you make the angels smile.
You make my gladdened heart sing and rejoice,
It's almost like we can hear the Master's voice.
