Dear Mother

This is a note to you because I know you soon will leave
Jesus will cradle you in His arms I believe
You have done your earthy work
I don't know how you didn't go berserk

This family has been difficult to tether
Only your love could you keep us together
Do not worry you made us strong
I firmly believe we can finally get along

We look to God's precious mother Mary
She is an example for us to carry
In our hearts you will always remain
And finally you will be relieved of pain

The sorrow of your passing will turn to peace
For you will finally be given an eternal lease
To the Lord's valley of tomorrow
Where a weary heart bears no sorrow
