Back to School Again

It's that time a year again when we go back
So without fail, Mom will fill my backpack.
With pencils, pen, paper and Kleenex.
This time of year always seems to perplex.

Parents try to decide on the schedule of events,
That will help them decide the class contents.
But before anyone can attend required classes,
They had to get inoculations given to the masses.

Then there is that infernal bus and it's frequent stops.
That tends to infuriate parents and endanger cops.
You would think people would remember last year
But, bus routes become confusing and unclear.

Kids seems to think it is a big joke to be so hyper,
Their unaware parents were like this since the first diaper.
Perhaps they will know when they get through high school and college
They will understand how much their parents had to manage.

Take your hats off to good old Mom and Dad.
Be grateful for all the privileges you've had.
That first day of school prepared for the rest of your life.
Especially when you become a husband or wife.
