Off in the distance I heard a familiar sound.
The Engines whistle could be heard all around.
My heart began to race at the very thought,
Of the catalog item I might have bought.
We lived to far from the nearest town,
So I had to purchase my wedding gown
I combed through JC and Monkey's book,
But just couldn't find the right look.
Then my neighbor gave me the Spiegel flyer,
She knew I might be a prospective buyer.
Sure enough wouldn't you know?
There it was with satin buttons and bows.
Here I wait with pleasurable anticipation,
For a beautiful garment I can wear with red carnations.
It won't be long before we are almost home.
United as one and never again to roam.
