When the sky fills with a calming hue.
The sea softly ripples the waves, so few.
It is then that God manifests saving grace.
And the sailor feels the whole worlds embrace.
For the wind caress' s with a gentle touch.
Loneliness is not perceived to be so much.
The non-descriptive sounds of the sea dwellers.
Is accompaniment for the glow so stellar?
Truly God reached out his hand to create.
This gorgeous night on the sea so great.
The sailor is ready to fold his mighty sails.
He is headed home with many tales
About, this voyage and inspiring night.
When the entire world seemed so right.
It was time to tip his cap, a gesture to say adieu.
And at the same time express a big thank you.
