There is another disease that ravages men's soul.
Its demonic, corrosive nature attacks him as a whole.
In its path of destruction are left marks of his being.
It sneaks up without you seeing.
It does not discriminate on sex or age.
From birth to death traces of it rage.
It also affects devoted family and friends,
All to often it is to late to make amends.
Sadly the person who is afflicted,
Does not realize that he/she is addicted.
The steps to health require a specialized approach
Which must be followed above reproach,
A twelve-step program gives support,
It requires great physical and mental effort.
But most of all allows a renewed affiliation
With his God, the Father of all Creation.
