From the very first you have been like a glowing ember.
Your presence was felt and lovely to remember.
Through all the years I have felt you close.
You have been my salvation I suppose.
My Dear Jesus you have been my guiding light.
You have shown me everything that is right.
To my children it has been my solemn vow
To teach, them about you in the here and now.
You have been my constant companion,
On this journey of life in search of Zion.
You hold the spiritual key for capture,
Of a state of complete and total rapture.
It is my earnest prayer that from the very start,
You will have created in me a clean heart.
In order to renew your spirit within me,
For the entire world to be able to see.
Dear Jesus with your love purify my soul,
For eternal life with you in heaven is my goal.
May my humble sacrifices be worth?
You’re issuing me a spiritual rebirth.
