My beautiful friend Arnold was killed in a plane crash.
One day he was here, the next gone in a flash.
Who could not be distinguished from a pile of ash?
This rocked the entire community to its heels.
A loss the everyone certainly feels.
He was a brave, loving man who was filled with ideals.
We worked together side by side to serve the poor.
So many came for assistance, their needs to implore.
Arnold’s faith in God was hard to ignore.
After major disasters, he was a quick responder.
For it was not his nature to wait and ponder.
His concern for his fellow man formed a powerful bond.
His innate abilities made it seem like he waved a magic wand.
It is my prayer that an angel welcomed Mr. Andrews at the gate,
To Heaven so that the Lord did not have to wait.
For Arnold to hear those loving benevolent words.
"Well done my faithful servant, you have earned your just reward."
