Come let us put aside an hour or two.
When we can enjoy our special brew.
It is time that we can set aside
In order, to discuss and confide
All the feelings that disturb us so.
This way they could no longer grow.
We have solved problems over a cup of tea.
A civil and successful way to agree.
Always the unseen third person, Jesus
Promises us complete success.
Perhaps this is a way to solve the world ails.
Prevent wars and share problematic details.
Can't you just see it now around three or four.
Countries put aside all aggression to explore
This new fangled idea to approach peace.
To make all hostilities cease.
My suggestion if you find yourself distressed
Sit down with your favorite person you'll be blessed
Share a cup of tea at the special time of day
Watch all your troubles melt away
