I will always remember the gracious lady, my aunt
Rose, who had a green thumb and lovely things she did plant.
She was a wonderful teacher who inspired you to learn
but ,there were times she could be stern.
Marley was her daughter and perhaps my closet friend.
Who used to listen to my stories of let's pretend.
The nicest thing I can say is she is just as elegant and refined.
As the lady, I remember from my early youth.
That is the honest and complete truth.
My aunt was indeed a perfect Rose.
May she sleep forever in quiet repose.
I am lucky to have my cousin Marley.
I hope until we are old and gnarly.
I will always be grateful for to the Lord.
For the perfect Rose I adored.
