We had established our lives or so we thought.
And were totally surprised at what the Lord brought.
In the most unlikely way He put us in each others way.
We realized that this was certainly our lucky day.
I believe we were always meant to be together.
Because we had many storms to weather.
My heart had been tromped on by others,
and left it damaged and smothered.
You my love came along and treated me with care,
For all these years you have always been there.
This was indeed what the Lord designed for us.
Little did we know how we were divinely blessed.
My love for you will never fade.
Our lifetime groundwork has been laid,
By the Lord in heaven above.
I thank God everyday for the man I love.
