What a beautiful symbol you are for the land.
I watch you fly freely with such grace so grand.
If only hunters would honor your grace.
And give you access to all the wide-open space.
You are indeed God's marvelous creatures.
With many truly distinctive features.
Too bad that when they wrote the law.
Seems like a terrible uncalled for flaw.
That someone didn't bother to ask why.
They didn't consider your freedom of the sky.
Now you are among those on the endangered list,
And may someday cease to exist.
