Beauty can be seen in all of God's creatures.
Be they portray magnificent features,
Even the small and gentle dove is a mystery.
For it plays a very important spot in man's history.
As far back as the horrible flood the little dove,
Brought the news that was right with God above.
For century's the little bird has been a sign,
Of symbols of peace and love combined.
Once we were in Fatima and took part.
in the midnight procession from it's start.
Thousands of people following the Blessed statue of Mary.
All singing the Ave Maria, no one stopped to tarry.
When it was completed and we talked in the pitch dark.
A miracle occurred and produced a spark,
For a white dove directly overhead and left us to question.
Only a few of us witnessed this but you could tell by our expression.
Since doves almost never fly at night.
Again this was a sign that all was right.
I will always remember that beautiful time.
And that gentle dove so sublime.
