Blessed Child of God born this day,
You bring joy and peace our way.
Born of a virgin so very pure
Our place in heaven you do ensure.
You are the Messiah which was foretold
By anointed prophets of old.
You are our guiding light and salvation.
Truly your Father's personification.
May you live forever in our heart?
So that Christmas Day is just the start.
Of God's eternal love we may impart.
May you forever be blessed
by the spirit of this day
And pass it on to all you meet
along the way.
Not just on this day of good cheer,
But now and every moment of the year.
