Today I watched the changing of the guard.
The next four years appear necessary but hard.
The old regime is out, a new one is in.
A hard fought campaign it has been.
Our new president is young but tough,
Certainly nothing off the cuff.
A welcome sight indeed to behold.
The former one now seems tired and old.
My hats off to this young man.
With his ambitious and welcome plan.
We all watch in pride and awe,
As he makes government fulfil the law.
Take charge Mr. President, you took the oath.
Go forth with love and hope ,go forth!
Your not alone, your task you share.
We will always remember to keep you in prayer.
