Birthday for Alyssa

One very special holiday we were blessed with a treat.
We were presented with a Granddaughter ever so sweet.
No ghosts or goblin came to try to scare.
At least none that we were aware.
Our joy was too powerful and fine.
We thank our Lord so divine.
Our beautiful and precious child,
Whose very nature is beguiled.
Alyssa, another birthday and we agree,
That your still a pumpkin to Poppy and me.
