Dear Lord, You have given me the answer to so many 
problems, through your angels I felt you caress and cradle me.

With all that life had to offer 
this cancer is just another hurdle  I can see.

I have felt your strength through the many prayers.
I thank you for always being there.

The end looks close in sight 
hopefully the treatment will be just right.

I do want to mention that  
the Father General was a terrific surprise.

I felt so honored that before returning to Rome, 
he stopped to tell us goodbye.

His presence in  our home  gave me a boost to my heart.
He has always been one of your special priests from the start.

He certainly made my burden light.
Suddenly I knew everything would be alright.

The special surprises that you sent 
in the form of great-grandchildren was a great delight.
