Well by golly it is time for the summer games,
After much coaxing the boy got his Dad to help him.
Somehow waking Dad from a sleep on the couch
Was not a wise idea, for he did not learn a thing?
It seemed Dad got carried away.
Rocky learned a few things but not enough to play on his own.
With this in mind he asked his brother to help him.
He loved his big brother but again Tim was already involved
With his own game.
As a last resort he sought the advice of his girl friend,
Pretty sneaky because she had a crush on Rocky and only wanted
Him to do well. This turned out to be a boom for Rocky because as
long as he could resist her cow eyes it was easy to learn. Not only did he learn how to play a decent game of ball, but also he learned a valuable lesson regarding women. This proved to be a great advantage for him to fall back on that would do him well for later in life.
Seeing as how this was near Valentines Day, he decided to send her a lovely box of chocolates.
With this in mind he had Geronimo check over his game and got nothing but a shining gold star. From then on if he had a question regarding life in general, he saved a lot of time and expense and went to Geronimo in the very beginning. This proved to be a wise and prudent move especially when Geronimo responded
