Geronimo was sitting and contemplating the end of summer, It had been a very busy year. His only regret was that he had not had time to have a party to let all his cartoon friends know how he had appreciated all their help. With this in mind he began to compose a guest list.
Of course he would invite all his Disney friends and their families.
Then too he could not forget Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella
And all of Hans Christian Anderson's folks. By the time he got to Mother Goose he realized that Make Believe Land was going to fill up fast. He did not want to forget anyone. Of course their were those that he knew were shy and not want to come, but none the less they would be invited.
He consulted with angel fairy to see if she had any suggestions as to whom she would like to include. It would be up to her to deliver the invitations
After a long conference they finally thought they had everyone on the list.
The first invite looked something like this with a note to bring all your friends because Make Believe Land is ready to greet you all.

YOUR INVITED
As soon as the word got out that there was going to be a party Make Believe land became a hustle bustle place indeed. Geronimo never saw the Angel fairy's so busy with cleaning polishing and getting everything in order. The RSVP's were coming in so fast that Geronimo hardly had time to read all his e-mail. Excitement filled the air while humming a happy tune permeated the sound waves. Geronimo dropped a line off to Lil Boss
to see if he might attend and was delighted that Jesus was looking forward to it. Geronimo called the cook fairy to see if she would get the refreshments together. He contacted the secretary to have her put together and annual report regarding how things were on earth. Then again he had to make arrangements for entertainment, luckily he did not have to worry about decorating for Make Believe Land was filled with a special kind of enchantment. He wanted this to be an affair to remember.
Now it was time to arrange a way for the children to come to the party.
This is very intricate in that it has to be done during the sleeping hours.
Just as the cloud of slumber reared it's head to bring about dream land
Geronimo ordered the fairy angels to pick up the invited guests. When the order came they swooped down and scooped the children up
With a arrival of the children the party was in full swing and just as Geronimo expected the children surrounded Lil Boss. As usual He was telling them stories in the form of parables and Geronimo found himself just as enthralled as the children were. This was indeed a wonderful time for everyone just let their hair down and enjoyed one another's company.
  
Even some of the newer critters that came to the party. In Make Believe Land everyone is accepted even if they appear a little weird.
Geronimo looked forward to shindigs like this because he got to see wonderful people at ease and for a change not in trouble. Of course the door was always open to everyone.
Unfortunately it was nearly time for the children to awaken therefore the party must end.
The fairies started to return them home to their beds. The cartoon folk soon left and Geronimo shook their hands and they expressed a wish to come again. What fun they had!!
 
Finally when everyone was gone, Geronimo, the angel fairies and Lil Boss let out a big sigh. It was wonderful but really they felt exhausted. They would plan ahead for another party but make it NEXT YEAR.
