Getting ready for Geronimo
|
Maccaroon knew that Geronimo would need some help
because he was doing projects for our Lord.
He happened to know another runt of a litter
and that was Henry the Rabbit.
They had been friends since they were born
because their mother's took special time to
teach them how to get along in the forest.
They used to romp and play together while their
mothers chatted about different thing
Everyone asked Maccaroon how he got the spelling
of his name and he readily explained that his
name was Mac(first name)ca(second name)and
roon (last name)Maccaroon sent a message
to Geronimo stating he had recruited some
help for when he came down again.
Henry was a quiet little rabbit unlike his noisy
siblings. They put their heads together to decide how to
greet Geronimo the next time. Henry so wanted to
impress him. Henry was going to gather some carrots
but Macaroon had never seen Geronimo eat anything.
He knew that when he visited some children their
mother fixed peanut butter and honey sandwiches,
but Geronimo said he didn't eat anything.
They discarded the food idea. So they drew a map showing
the place of Cobblers Apprentice ( He was a Leprechaun)
and might be a relative. Seems Henry was now an orphan
because his Mom and Dad were trapped by a poacher.
Henry was a wonderful painter with his nose and
whiskers. Macaroon made a frame, from some sticks..
They were now ready!!!!
Oh wait they better talk to the cobbler and see if
he was receptive to a visit. One of the forest people had told them
about Jacob but never having met him they decided to pay him a visit.
At first he seemed very distant and not to friendly.
But Maccaroon being friendly and outgoing was able to warm him
up especially when he described the purpose of their
intrusion on his time. He was anxious to meet Geronimo
for he had no relatives either except in the old country.
Business was very slow so perhaps he could make Geronimo
a pair of shoes. Maccaroon thought--- What a wonderful gift
that would be for his friend. Maccaroon rubbed his head
and thought what more could they do ??? Seems now things
were in order. He would not send an e-mail instead let
this all be a surprise.
